First Nightshots, Spring 2012

I had to run an errand further west and brought my camera along to try and catch some fog shots, but the sun totally disappeared and took the atmosphere with it. The sky became a flat grey and there was no visibility at all, so I ran the errand and returned to the lakeshore near my house after dark to see if the fog burned off.

It did, but the air wasn’t completely dry yet, which meant the first long exposure pictures I took lacked some clarity, as if the camera couldn’t quite focus through the mist. It took some post-production to get the pictures to look how I saw them in my head.
