2007Tangerine Sky
Taken tonight with David’s Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1. Great zoom on this camera (12x optical, 35mm equivalent is 35-420). Notice the jet in the frame, taking off from Pearson International.
It took me a very long time to get going today, despite the bright sunlight. I got up at a decent time then went right back to bed with the PowerBook and watched movies. Sent email. Made phone calls. I think I made more phone calls today than I have in weeks; perhaps today was more productive than it seemed.
By the time I went to the grocery store(s — I went to two) it must’ve been around 9:30 in the evening, and I had a big list. I was on the phone at the grocery store, too, but I’m not very skilled at multi-tasking my shopping bag arm, holding the phone, grabbing things off the shelf, reading the label, and carrying on a conversation. The wireless Bluetooth devices that hang over the ear are very convenient for such times, but I feel utterly foolish wearing them. It makes it look like I’m talking to myself, but I’m saving those precious moments for when I’m old and demented.

Love that picture. It almost looks unreal. Beautiful shot.

The wireless Bluetooth devices that hang over the ear are very convenient for such times, but I feel utterly foolish wearing them I dare not wear one either, just because I am too old 😉 I’ll look VERY old and foolish, and people will think I’m crazy!

I love muttering to myself as I grocery shop. Let them think I am demented and not so old…keeps them away from me!! 🙂
